SSRC Overview
Southwestern States Residency Conference planning committee created this portion of the site to assist you in successfully preparing your abstract submission as well as platform and poster presentations. Abstracts are required for all platform presentations. To ensure proper formatting of your documents, please read all the instructions carefully as instructions have changed for this year. Registered names must match all submissions including abstracts, slides, and handouts.
ABSTRACT:
-
Please review our Abstract Submission Guidelines, Abstract Submission Worksheet, and Abstract Submission Example to guide development of your abstract. It is important that the author carefully review and follow all formatting guidelines to ensure approval of submissions. When submitting the abstract worksheet, please be sure to identify what type of project is being presented.
SUBMISSION:
-
Please use the Abstract Submission Worksheet for abstract submission.
-
Finalized abstracts should be sent using the [Submit Abstract Here] button below.
-
Please utilize the Abstract Submission Worksheet to plan and outline your submission.
-
Remember to thoroughly proofread your work before submitting. Abstracts may not be reviewed prior to the conference. The Abstract Reviewer Form can be used to help guide reviewers when providing feedback to residents on their abstracts. In order to get a fresh perspective on the project, we suggest that residents have someone other than their preceptor for the residency project review the abstract. This could be a co-resident or mentor and use this form to provide feedback.
-
Please be sure to double check the formatting and content of your abstract once it has been transferred into the worksheet and prior to submitting.
-
NOTE: If your research project will not be finalized by the time you submit your abstract and/or at the time of the conference it is OK to list results as "In Progress".
