Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery
Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery is an innovative and interactive practice-based educational program that provides pharmacists with the skills necessary to become primary sources for vaccine advocacy, education, and administration. The program reviews the basics of immunology, identifies legal and regulatory issues pharmacists must consider before starting an immunization program, and focuses on practice implementation.

Module 1 - Pharmacists as Vaccine Advocates discusses the pharmacist as a vaccine advocate
Module 2 - Immunology reviews the basic concepts of immunology and the role of vaccines in eliciting an immune response
Module 3 - Vaccine-Preventable Diseases reviews key facts about vaccine-preventable diseases and the vaccines used for prevention
Module 4 - Implementing an Immunization Practice discusses Establishing a pharmacy-based immunization program
Module 5 - Administering Vaccines focuses on the clinical decision-making process for identifying people who need protection though vaccination, including how to find them, how to assess them, and how to immunize them
